o Analyzing financial statements: 4 methods to know (sector approach, scoring method, strategic positioning, analytical approach)
o First overview of the fundamental criteria of the financial approach: profitability, financial autonomy, solvency, liquidity, etc.

> Course 2: Operating profitability

o Sales: the different measures, evolution
o Cost structures: margin on variable costs, fixed costs, profit and loss
o Scissor effect, break-even and leverage effect
o Non-operating effects in the income statement: forex effects, scope, other non-recurring effects
o Different levels of margin, and their evolution

> Course 3: Balance sheet and change in capital employed

o What you need to know about the balance sheet: capital employed
o The investment policy and the decision to invest
o WCR dynamics: growth and seasonality
o Special arrangements: long-term contracts, partial assets contributions, LBOs

The concepts are introduced starting from the reality of the business and their translation into financial information is presented in a simple and concrete manner.

> All modules (15 to 30 min. each) are divided into 8 interactive sequences to involve the learner. They include a voice-over and videos, a micro-case for immediate application, a whiteboard sequence to retain formulas, and a guiding thread trail (real company case). An evaluation quiz completes each module to ensure that the key points have been retained.
> The learner can spread out his learning over the duration of the subscribed availability (3 months or 6 months). The courses become available as the learner progresses. Once completed, they can be followed at will until the end of the subscription.
Technical and pedagogical support:
> At the end of course 3 and at the end of course 5 , a tutoring appointment is organized with the trainer to discuss the learner’s professional context and guide him/her in the acquisition of skills.
