The context

Europe’s large corporates must adopt IAS/IFRSs, international accounting standards, by 2005.

From this in-depth mutation stem considerable changes, which create a rapidly growing market.

The opportunity

Created in 2001 by HEC-graduate Christophe Marion (the former manager of external training at PriceWaterhouseCoopers), FinHarmony is the first company to have developed a widely recognised expertise in IAS/IFRS standards, and to offer coaching to large corporates in that field.

The company

Further to its tailored consulting services, FinHarmony has developed the entire curriculum of a certifying IFRS-training programme for Ordre des Experts-Comptables (France’s accounting regulatory body) and advises major clients, such as Carrefour, La Poste, Danone.

The position

Today, FinHarmony wants to reinforce its team of seasoned consultants to take an active part in assignments pertaining to IAS/IFRS, US GAAP, internal control:

- Assistance to IAS/IFRS transition;
- Internal control diagnostics;
- Presentation of training sessions for professionals

Factors of success

With a higher education in Accountancy/Management, you have at least 4 years’ experience in an audit firm (Big 4).

You have acquired in-depth knowledge of anglo-saxon accounting referentials, ideally of IAS/IFRSs.

Your qualities: you are autonomous, flexible, with a global and detailed approach, and extremely good people skills.
